Content Strategy Director, OMD
Katy’s love for all things media started in the most natural place… the Super Bowl. While watching the world’s most tuned-into TV commercials in college, Katy switched her major to Marketing and never looked back.
After college, Katy made a little jump from Philadelphia to NYC where she started as an OMD media strategist and planner on ABSOLUT (a dream first client for a 22-year-old), NIVEA, PepsiCo and Hershey’s Chocolate. A later opening on the Branded Entertainment team let her explore her more creative side working with the likes of Tyra Banks and Ellen DeGeneres.
In 2011, Katy made a big jump to Sydney where she helped Panadol, Nokia and V Energy deliver experiential and creative campaigns before returning to OMD as a Communications Director across sponsorships, content and activations.
She is now OMD Sydney’s Content Strategy Director, responsible for creating smart, insightful, data-driven content strategies for clients like Bacardi, Qantas, Intel and Telstra.
Awards include Cannes, Mumbrella, APMA, B&T and BE Fest.
